यूनाइटेड टीचर्स एसोसिएशन के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष राजेंद्र सिंह राठौर ने बताया कि निर्वाचन आयोग ने सरकारी सेवा में तैनात दंपती में से किसी एक की ही ड्यूटी लगाने के लिए जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी को पत्र जारी किया है।
लखनऊ। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी कार्यालय की ओर से सभी निर्वाचन अधिकारियों को पत्र भेजा गया है कि पति-पत्नी दोनों के सरकारी सेवा में होने पर उनकी चुनाव ड्यूटी लगाते समय पूर्व के नियमों के तहत कार्यवाही की जाए।
विभिन्न संगठनों ने इस मामले में आयोग से अनुरोध किया था।
Only one of the husband and wife will be assigned election duty
Lucknow. If both husband and wife are posted as teachers in the education department, then only one of them will have to do election duty. A memorandum regarding this was given to the District Election Officer by the Teachers' Union last month. Taking cognizance of the memorandum, the Election Commission has issued an order in this regard.
State President of United Teachers Association, Rajendra Singh Rathore said that the Election Commission has issued a letter to the District Election Officer to assign duty to only one of the couples posted in government service.
Lucknow. A letter has been sent to all the election officers by the Chief Electoral Officer's office of Uttar Pradesh that if both the husband and wife are in government service, then action should be taken under the previous rules while assigning them election duty.
Various organizations had requested the Commission in this matter.
