वहराइच : परिषदीय विद्यालयों का नया सत्र एक अप्रैल से शुरू हो गया है, लेकिन इस वर्ष विद्यालयों में नामांकन बढ़ाना शिक्षकों के लिए चुनौती से कम नहीं है। जिले में लगभग दो हजार बच्चों के नामांकन ही हो पाए हैं।
जिले के परिषदीय विद्यालयों में इस बार बच्चों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी नहीं हो पा रही है। एक अप्रैल से ही विभाग का जोर नामांकन बढ़ाने पर है। इसके लिए सत्र के पहले दिन से ही शिक्षक प्रयास कर रहे हैं। स्कूल चलो अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।
शिक्षक डोर-टू-डोर संपर्क कर रहे हैं, लेकिन इसके अपेक्षित परिणाम नहीं आ रहे हैं। इसके पीछे मुख्य कारण गर्मी माना जा रहा है। इसके अलावा विभाग का वह आदेश भी है, जिसमें एक अप्रैल को बच्चे की आयु छह वर्ष पूरी होनी आवश्यक है। अब माता-पिता के आधार कार्ड से ही बच्चे का नामांकन किया जा सकता है, लेकिन गर्मी एक बड़ा कारण है।

ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में इस समय गेहूं की कटाई आदि का समय चल रहा है। माता-पिता खेतों में काम करने जाते हैं तो बच्चे भी उनके साथ सहयोग करने चले जाते हैं। ऐसे में जब शिक्षक घर-घर संपर्क के लिए निकलते हैं तो बच्चे घर में मिलते ही नहीं हैं। अब शिक्षक आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों से संपर्क कर उनसे ऐसे बच्चों की लिस्ट मांग रहे हैं जो बच्चे छह वर्ष के पूरे हो गए हैं।
इसी लिस्ट के आधार पर वे अभिभावकों से संपर्क करते हैं। बीएसए अव्यक्तराम तिवारी ने बताया कि गर्मी का मौसम है, इसलिए बच्चे स्कूल नहीं आ रहे हैं। लक्ष्य यह है कि कोई भी पात्र बच्चा नामांकन से वंचित न रहे। शिक्षकों को नामांकन बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
